I'm talking to you today about my chosen elective, band.

I'm the keyboard player and everyone else plays guitar. the two songs we're playing are radioactive and I'm yours. 

The first few weeks have gone pretty well only one person practiced so we're pretty terrible. It's slightly different then what I imagined there is less people then I imagined (only 4.) And slightly more casual. To make it better I need to practice more because like I said we're pretty terrible.

Castle Building

I'm going to talk about Castle Building. Last week we made paper castles by making paper nets and gluing them together.

So yeah we made a paper castle and I'm surposed to talk to you about how we worked as a team during the experiment. So we measured the spaces we were going to put towers on and made nets for them then we glued them together and paited them. After that we put them on the bottom paper.                                                                                                            We worked as a team horribly always getting into arguments. Our decisions were made by a lot of arguing. We had heaps of problems and usualy solved them by arguing.                    Bye

Cross Country

It was the cross country on tuesday. Don't panic! I'm alive! so I'm surposed to talk about cross country.                                                                                                                                Err                                                                                                                                                   Can't say it was a fun experience. It was pretty hard.I didn't show perserverence unless you count keeping on running to the end but Aiden did keeping on going to the end even though he found it hard.                                                                                                               I saw a few people showing empathy but I can't remember who they were.

The jungle book

'ello I'm here to talk about the live action jungle book movie. It's basically the same as the original  movie but live action. and it has a star studded cast:                                                   Bill Murry as Baloo, Christopher Walken  as king louie, Idris Elba as shere khan and Scarlett Johansson as Kaa.                                                                                                           the best bit was when Baloo persuaded Mowgli to steal honey and he got stung a million times.

I've learn't how to say a few things in Espanol class one thing I've learnt is how to say my name is in Spanish: me llama Adam. I've also learnt how to ask someone how they are: como estas/ como esta. I also learn't how to reply.

How to play speed-ball. 

speed-ball is a game  where you can’t move with the ball you have to pass it. To score a point you have to from outside the semicircle you have to throw the ball at the crazy catch net and for it to bounce off and hit the ground outside the semicircle. you can score at either end and pass it forward or backwards. We learnt this ASB sportscentre.

I realized how unfit I was which made me exercise which I'm greatful for.

I'm a Nice Guy

This Easter holiday we were told we had to do something nice.
I  wasn't really thinking about it but I accidentally did something nice. On Good Friday we went around all the family's houses giving out Easter eggs. When we got to the last house we went in we talked for an hour and a half just like the others. But just as we were about to leave the rugby was turned on and  my Dad was pulled in. just as he was about to sit down I whispered in his ear
"Shouldn't we leave."
So I didn't make a commotion like I sometimes do.

EOTC week

How high I was when I decided to stop.

EOTC week was extremely fun and I was right to be so excited. 
The most challenging thing I did was crate stack. Crate stack is when you're on a harness and you have to stack milk crates really high while standing on the top crate. You lose when  you fall off the crates or if the crates fall down. That's when the harness comes in. Another person in your group holding the harness and tightening it whenever ,you  take a step up. When you fall off it stops you falling and you are gently lowered to the ground. I only made 6 boxes.
I found swimming the easiest.(you can probably tell why.)
My favorite moment was the capital E on TV. I was the location director. My job was to direct and manage all the interviews and, since my camera man had a injured leg, manage the location camera. I spent the first 50 minutes showing the interviewers/interviewees a video and giving them tips. Then it was show time. I spent the next half hour rising and dropping my arm to tell my actors when to start.

EOTC week next week

Welcome back to My Blog. EOTC (Education Outside The Classroom) week is next week and I'm excited. On Monday we will be walking up mount Kau Kau, on tuesday we will be going to Capital E and making TV show on their on TV studio (I'm going to be location director), on Wednesday we'll be going to pataka gallarie and the pool, On thursday we'll be going to camp kaitoki were we'll be doing lots of cool stuff. on friday we'll be going to ASB sports centre. I'm really excited and I can't wait for monday.

Duolingo

Welcome back to Adams blog. Our class has been using a website called Duolingo to learn spanish and I quite like it. It's not just spanish you can learn on Duolingo, there are around twenty different languages you can learn. The way Duolingo works is like this there are around 30 different topics, each topic with about 4 lessons in it ranges right from the basics to the extremely hard stuff. You can follow your friends, see if you're better than them. There is a chat page so you can talk about the language you're learning. My experience with Duolingo has been Quite good. I've done 4 topics and are 4% fluent and I am following 3 people and 3 people are following me.

Hello again.

Thank's for commenting those 5 people. I've took your advise and decided to make this next post longer than the others. Okay so you've probably guessed that I'm going to talk about tech.

For the past 2 weeks on Mondays we've been doing tech. There are five different classes Woodwork, sewing, movie-making, cooking and electronics. Every 8 weeks we rotate to the next class. At the moment I'm doing electronics. Even though it might look like woodwork in the picture it is, we're making a base for our project. The project itself is a version of operation. We twist a wire in to complicated shape and make a circle of wire which is the  connected to the circuit. The aim of the game is to get the circle of wire around the complicated shape without the circle touching it. If it touches the wire the circuit is completed and a buzzer goes. The first thing we did was was make a wooden base we glued it together and then nailed it. The nexted week we painted it. I painted it yellow.          Bye
