So this one's going to be a quick one. Okay 4 things I've learnt.

1. Fern seeds make little micro plants which then pollinate and grow a plant.

2. Plants usually make 4 different types of sugar glucose, fructose, lactose and sucrose.

3.Mice pollinate some plants

Goals reflection

4/5! not bad if I do say so my self. A good term's work.
Goal number 1: get the speed up on my basic facts. I've definitely done that! I think 2 strait 100s In a row shows it. Cool.
Goal number 2: Try to be nicer on first aid I'm pretty sure I've done that....I think. Cool.
Goal number 3: discuss with my friends what collage they're going to. Totally forgot 'bout dat.Cool.
Goal number 4: try to learn more japanese. I think I've done that. I'm starting to use japanese at home so I've done it. Cool
Goal number 5: get my fitness up I've I've pretty much done that.

I mean I finished it, I only need cue cards on one paragraph and I'm pretty prepared I do have to have to work on my fidgeting problemo though. so yeah I think I'm kinda ready for my speech.......maybe..........ish.......er

Book Week

I'm here to tell you about book week,but there's loads of things to write so we're doing this quickfire. It was very fun and we did a lot of fun stuff. Fifi Coulsten was cool and I liked her artwork.The book parade was cool, I dressed like Howard Stark (badly). Other people had way better costumes than me. I didn't get in to the book quiz for the first time and what the hey we lost.

Favorite Books

I'm here to talk about books I like. 

My favorite picture book when I was a little kid was Pigs Might Fly by Jonathan Emmett and Steve Cox. It's about the three little pigs after the events of the original story the pigs join a flying contest to win a life time supply of pies. little do they know the big bad wolf is also in the competition.






My favorite author at the moment is.........

John Flanagan I like him because he's so creative and his work is really cool.

The maze runner is the best book I've read this year and I haven't even finished it. I'd recomend it for year 7s and 8s

Production

 I'm here to talk about the production. So the production is a play/musical our school puts on every second year. it's always extremely funny and cheesy but this year it was the funniest/cheesiest. I played friar tuck and it was a great experience.
The thing I enjoyed most about playing friar tuck was my last line (little john says, "And wash friar tucks habits," and I say "and I have a lot of dirty habits.") The highlight for me is the no money dance and the funniest moment was Iraklis nearly falling off his chair. there isn't much I would've done differently.

I'm here to talk about this awesome quote. So what happened was that Bessie Braddock accused Winston Churchill of being drunk he  repied " I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly." I like it because its such a good insult.

Closest-ever flying formation achieved!

so today is about a space record that's just been broken. On the 15th of September 4 ships called MMS (Magnetospheric Multiscale) broke a world record(even though it was out of this world, aha ha ha ha.... yeahhhh its not funny) by flying 4 and a half miles apart beating the record by 1 and a half miles.

Space Fiction Writing

This week we have to talk about something we have done in our space inquiry. Our space inquiry is a list of 10 things and we had to do 8 of them. The thing I'm doing this post about about is the fiction writing it was fun writing the story your ownway but about the same thing. I think it improved my writing skills and my creativity.

Time Management

So Today I'm talking about my time management skills I finish most of my tasks at school and usually do one at home. I don't think I've been using my time well and I need to do more work on mondays to wednesdays.

Argghhh Production dance's

P-p-production dance. boo hoo hoo hoo hoo hoo. So the dance's we're doing are Robbin Hood and No Money. The only one I'm doing is Robbin Hood Its a dramatic disco style dance where as No Money is extremely fast. My Favorite is definitely Robbin Hood. But I definitely need to work on using the right (or left!) hand.

Robo-Mermaid

I'll be talking about OceanOne, an under water robot designed by undergraduate students at Stanford university. It took a few years build but the prototype's finally finished. It was designed to do under water stuff that is to dangerous for humans to do like working like other robots but most of the other the robots lack the skills to do fragile tasks that where the OceanOne. http://www.dogonews.com/2016/8/15/stanford-creates-robotic-mermaid-to-help-with-deep-sea-exploration

Judo

'ello
I watched the men's 66kg judo final yesterday and it was pretty cool. Judo is pretty much the martial art of throwing and sweeping and holding on the ground. I like judo because I do judo and am pretty terrible at it. It went into golden score and Beslan Mudranov of Russia won with a leg sweep against Yeldos Smetov of Kazakhstan to get the gold.

Book Groups

First post of the term, yay! Anyhoo I'm talking about  book groups. The book my group is reading is called THE SILVER SWORD DUN DUN DUN. by Ian Serraillier. So yeah book groups are going quite well it's nice talk to people who know the same amount of the book as you do. Our group is going well. I need to let people talk a bit more though.
