We have to write about a political news event. So i'm doing this one. For the last 7 years Winston Peters has been taking higher superannuation payments then he was supposed to. Basically After any kiwi turns 65 they get payed superannuation every week but single get payed more then those who aren't. Winston Peters, who isn't single, signed for the pay of a single person.
Three things I want to learn about parliament and elections are;

1.How do they count then votes
2.What the lesser parties represent
3.how they decide on things in parliament

I'm here to talk about a book I've read recently called pyramids written by Terry Pratchett. The genre is comedic fantasy like all Pratchett's books. Pyramids is about a guy who inherits a desert kingdom called Djelibeybi. he was educated at the assassins guild in Ankh Morpork and is determined to to make the kingdom more like Ankh Morpork. Then he accidentally commands an architect to build the biggest pyramid ever and all hell breaks loose.

Holidays

I've finally changed my intro. anyway I'm talking about the school holidays. I really didn't do much this holidays (it was heavenly). I did go to a really good holiday programme. You go to the ASB sports centre and we decide where to go as a group at the start of the day, It can be anywhere in Wellington. During the holidays we went rock climbing twice, watch a lot of Netflix, went swimming, saw a movie and played on some inflatables.

Today I'm talking about 2 tasks we had to do last week one was the camp recount and the sporcle quiz. I think I did very well on these tasks because I got them completed to a high standard by morning tea on Friday. I set goals for what I wanted to do on my recount on that day and that helped complete it. I would of done nothing differently.

Tech

I'm here to talk about tech. I'm in robotics and it's really fun. what we've done so far is programming a robot to see a wall in front of them and turn around and drive away. The class I'm looking forward to the most is cooking because you can eat lots. To make sure I get the most out of tech I'll pay attention to what the teacher is saying.

CAAAAAAAMP, camp

Camp was last week! YAAAAAAAAAAAY.
It was kinda over rated at the start but the last 2 days were fun (at least for our group).

The hardest thing was probably helping Cloe up the mountain because you had to be really patient. The easiest thing was probs the tyrolean because all you had to do was sit there while other people pulled you. and wehen you were pulling it was incredibly easy.

It wasn't as I expected. I thought we wouldn't do as much setting up but that just added to the fun. The thing I'm most proud of is completing the cargo net because I'm extremely afraid of heights and it was so freaky.

Light and Colour

so this post is about light and colour. It was quite a cool topic for science, I found it more fun than the the other topics because of all the experiments. The experiments definitely help me learn because you don't just write down what things do, you see what they do. some things I've learnt are what different lenses do and what transparent, translucent and opaque mean. there aren't any things I want to ask the scientists.

So swimming has been average this year, much the same as last year. So the main thing I've learn't is what do with your hands while doing a simple dive. I would like to learn how to dive in head first. I don't do much swimming in my own time. I don't dislike anything about swimming. I think it's a good idea to have swimming at school because it gives those who don't do much swimming in their own time to swim.

I'm back for another year of the most awesome person in this universe and 7 alternate universes. So I'm a year 8 this year and I'm expected to be better than last year I mean what's up with dat. I've grown know some year 7s better such as Jigs and Luke. So far this year the thing I've enjoyed the most is the school picnic, it was really fun. The most chalenging thing is probably getting my tasks done, I seem to have gotten worse. I dont really have any Ides the teachers shoud try.

1. Fern seeds make little micro plants which then pollinate and grow a plant.

2. Plants usually make 4 different types of sugar glucose, fructose, lactose and sucrose.

3.Mice pollinate some plants
