Open day

'ello and guten morgen, guten tag or guten abend
Last week we had a school open day the house captains and catholic character team were tour guides. We took people around the school to look at the classes working. I improved my public speaking and enjoyed giving back to the school

The Beehive and Friends

'ello and guten morgen, guten tag, guten abend
we went to parliament last week and saw the debating chamber (which is way smaller than it looks on tv) an office ( which was really cool) The press room and the library ( great architecture). My favourite thing was the debating chamber because of all the we learnt there.
Three things I have learnt are;
The whole idea of the legislative council.
The closing of parliament for campaigning.
What the speaker does.

Book groups are over

'ello and guten morgen, guten tag and guten abend

THE BOOK'S OVER NOOOO! It was a very good but the reat of the group didn't think so. It was really fun doing book groups because I got to see other peoples points of view and talk about what we had just read. I think I achieves goals set for book groups and what I didn't like was having to not talk for a bit. I wouldn't change anything for next year.
